About the Vampire Community

The Vampire community is more common than it used to be in the past and has been written about quite a bit in the new millennium because of the rise in popularity when real vampirism came out to be a real possible thing. It has even been documented that there are thousands of real human/Vampyres that are not just psychic vampyres (those who drink people’s psychic energy) but sanguine Vampyres who drink people’s blood. I never thought in that past that there are others who have such a craving but a need as I do to replenish my sustenance with other people’s sustenance. But now I realize that I am not so alone and what a relief that was to me! I new that being a Goth as well as Pagan was quite the burden sometimes when I don’t have many real friends who are as I am but what about my other burdens? Am I alone as a freak of nature? I know that is quitea terrible thing to believe about ones self especially if you have more than one burden but it was true. It took me quite some time to get a decent transition from my normal young life to realizing I might not have people to talk to or learn from in this state of being? I had to get involved in a place I never knew there was an actual place and finally understand my state of being!

When I finally learned of the community it was in a Goth store that I found the book that made it known to me (The Vampyre Almanac 2000) I was not actually alone in what I was and quite a relief it was indeed! I was off to find them the only way I knew how on the only place that a person like myself (in the small town I was in) could on the internet of course as well as the library and bookstores for more books on the subject. At first the search is never easy and at what place does on start and if the information is even credible? Like most people searching for anything a quick basic search engine search is the first place to look when one is looking for work and a better place to live as a Goth, Vampyre, Pagan and if they all even get along in the world. It is always hard to figuring out what is even credible when you only know one small books knowledge and if the book is credible itself? Now I know better as I research everything I claim to be before I dare claim it and it took me quite a long time to do that! The Vampire community is quite a diverse place with many different views and beliefs of what is true.

Three years later after being ordained for quite a while in my known spiritual path I decided to bring those very different burdens together in Temple United Vampyre Unitarian Pagan December 17th 2003 because I despise things being so difficult to manage without help from others. I was a Goth since 1997, Pagan since 1999, and Vampyre since 2000 and that division is so very difficult in one’s life especially since I was originally Christian since birth and knew that Christians as well as Pagans generally despised Vampyres and Goths despised us as people generally said they like Vampyres drink blood. You have no idea how difficult it is living in such a small community with so many dives and different burdens so I wanted to help others who had a tough time being themselves like I did. Being a very spiritual person it can be very difficult being a Goth and a Vampyre as neither claim to be very spiritual with in the community of course which I get reminded of quite a bit in those community’s so I created my own group of such individuals. You cannot say that Vampyrism or being Goth is a spiritual thing but I believe they both are. In the Vampyre community people are told as well as is often done to create houses (or groups) to help others in there communities belong especially with being in such a small community with such beliefs as I have being a very spiritual Gothic, Vampyre, Pagan.

I remember the one (not TempleUVUP) offline Vampyre event I went to where so amazing and you learn so much at such places and have to grasp onto that with as much as one can being in such a dead and dry city. The offline and online community are two very different places one such as myself being an Cyber Vampyre (or online Vampyre) wishes very deeply he can have a glimpse of the offline Vampyre life. The Cyber Vampyre life is very draining as one such as myself rarely feeds very well or much which leads to much fatigue and having not that healthy (mentally and physically) of a life which is very hard for a Vampyre leading to a hard time finding or keeping work so one is generally in the poverty class. I really sucks because most of the Gothic, Vampyre, and Pagan (as well as Vegetarian which I am) needs and foods cost so much especially when they run an online community (without much support). Many times I wish I was a normal person with there normal life without such burdens as we have but I need to stay healthy and keep my mind open to the truth.
